Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship to Hong Kong and worldwide!

For international orders (outside of Hong Kong), shipping costs vary based on your region and the weight of your order. Please DM us on Instagram or email us at amercacheinfo@gmail.com before/ after placing your order and selected "International Shipping" so we can provide you with an accurate shipping quote.


2. Hong Kong Shipping

Carrier: All Hong Kong orders are shipped via SF Express (Standard Express service) .

Shipping Charges:

  • Orders under HK$800: Shipping fees are payable by the customer upon arrival.

  • Orders HK$800 or above: FREE SHIPPING within Hong Kong.

 

SF Express Delivery Notes :

  • Standard delivery typically takes 2–5 business days.

  • For pick-up at SF Lockers: Please collect your parcel within 24 hours of receiving the delivery notification. A storage fee of HK$10 per 24-hour period may apply if you fail to collect on time.

  • For pick-up at SF Stores/Business Stations: Please collect your parcel within the first 2 days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays) to avoid storage fees.

  • Important: Due to SF Express security upgrades, SMS notifications may no longer be sent. Please download the official "SF-Express" App to receive real-time tracking updates and QR code pickup notifications. 


3. Worldwide Shipping (Outside Hong Kong)

We are happy to ship our vintage finds globally!

How to Order:

  1. Browse our collection and note the items you wish to purchase.

  2. Contact us before/ after checking out via:

  3. We will calculate the exact shipping cost based on your location, package weight, and volume, and send you a custom quote.

  4. Once you confirm, we will adjust your invoice or send you a separate payment link.

Important Information for International Buyers:

  • Customs Duties, Taxes & Fees: As the buyer, you are solely responsible for any import duties, customs fees, VAT, or brokerage fees levied by your country's customs authority. These are not included in our shipping charges .

  • Package Inspection: If your package appears damaged or tampered with upon arrival, we recommend either accepting the delivery under reserve (noting the damage on the courier's form) or rejecting it outright .

  • HS Codes & Customs Forms: For all international shipments, we will accurately complete the required customs declaration forms (including detailed item descriptions, quantities, and values). You are responsible for ensuring that the items you order are legal to import into your country .


4. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • We process and dispatch orders from Monday to Friday, within 1–5 business days of receiving your confirmed order .

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the following business day.

  • Dispatch Photo: As stated in our Refund Policy, we carefully inspect and photograph every item before it is dispatched. This dispatch photo serves as a record of the item's condition when it leaves our studio.


5. Shipping Insurance & Liability

For Hong Kong Orders:
We do not automatically include shipping insurance. However, if you wish to insure your parcel against loss or damage during transit, please let us know before dispatch. We can add SF Express Shipment Protection Plus (SPP) to your order for a small fee :

  • Declared Value up to HK$1,000: HK$5

  • Declared Value up to HK$2,000: HK$8

  • Declared Value above HK$2,000: 0.6% of declared value

For International Orders:
If you require insurance for your international shipment, please let us know when requesting your shipping quote. Additional fees will apply.

Liability:
Once the parcel has been handed over to the courier (SF Express or international carrier), we are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the courier, customs clearance, or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., public holidays, severe weather). We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages if the courier's tracking shows "Delivered" .


6. Undeliverable or Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us because:

  • You provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

  • You failed to pay customs duties/taxes.

  • You did not collect the parcel within the courier's holding period.

...You will be responsible for all return shipping costs and any customs fees incurred. If you still wish to receive the order, you will need to pay for the shipping fee again. If you prefer a refund, the original shipping fees and any return costs, and a handling fee of $50 HKD (local), $100 HKD (international) will be deducted from your refund amount.


7. Customs Declaration & Compliance

For all international shipments, we are required by law to accurately declare the contents and value of your order on the customs form .

What you need to know:

  • We will declare the full purchase price of the items (not the sale price or discounted price). Under-declaring is illegal and may result in your parcel being seized.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the items you purchase comply with your country's import regulations (e.g., restrictions on certain materials like fur, ivory, or endangered woods). 

  • As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. de minimis exemption (which previously allowed duty-free entry for packages under $800) has been suspended. All shipments to the U.S. are now subject to applicable duties and taxes. This is beyond our control and is the buyer's responsibility .
